Every rock band should have a "band vehicle" to carry around all their equipment in - so here she is - Mulva!!
Mulva, the pride and joy of Shattered, is a 1979 Ford Econline VanAmera Conversion Van with a ton of room inside that seats four very comfortably in her beautifully floral-upholstered captain's chairs. Powered by a 351 cu. in. Windsor V8, she's got power to spare even when fully loaded down at 3040 kg G.V.W. She's got Air/Cruise/Tilt, sliding rear windows, wet bar facilities, bar fridge & and a three speaker Sparkomatic Stereo.
You may wonder how we came up with the name, Mulva...well, it IS taken from the Seinfeld episode that deals with that same topic and we wanted to adorn the licence plates with her name so SHE knew who she was, but the kind folks at SGI denied every possible variation of "Mulva" on the grounds that it was "Sexually Offensive", so we settled on SHATRD for her plates. You can view the letter of denial we got back from SGI here. Damn you, government!
When she's not in use for gig duty, Mulva can be seen hauling various band members to places such as Crosby (North Dakota), Noonan (North Dakota), Minnedosa, Winnipeg, and various other locales around Estevan. Next time you see her out and about, give her a honk - she likes the attention...
